If you are interested in Officiating please try to attend the Officials meeting 12:30 pm on Saturday, 7:30 am on Sunday or just head out on deck and ask any of the Stroke and Turn judges if you can shadow them
HERE Please review the psych sheet and let us know if you see any errors. Heat sheets will be be published tomorrow morning once scratches and deck entries are done.
You can keep track of events and results in real time using the handy Meet Mobile app. This is a yearly paid app but well worth it.
Each club is required to provide timers for every swim meet. It's a very simple job and offers the best seats in the house.
There will be a sign up for timing shifts posted at the pool. Every family who has more than one adult attending and/or has older kids who don't need constant supervision are expected to take a timing shift. The meet can not run if we don't fill the shifts!
You might also consider becoming an Official. The first step is to head on the deck and ask any of the Stroke and Turn judges if you can shadow them.
Everything you need to know about the Sidney Piranhas Meet can be found here. MEET PACKAGE
What to Bring
The forecast is typical for South Island - cloudy with sunny periods and a chance of rain :)
You will also need your Piranhas shirt and swim cap, healthy snacks, water, lots of towels, chairs and/or blankets. People often bring quiet activities for the kids to enjoy while they are waiting for their race.
