Volunteering

Volunteer Duties:

Volunteer hours requested from each Piranha family:

Sept-April (winter) ………….. Minimum 5 hours per family
May-August (summer) …………minimum 10 hours per family

How to Volunteer:

And/or Sign up at the Piranhas information Board for posted events located in foyer outside pool viewing area. Also check the Family File Folder that is placed at the end of the pool viewing area during each practice.  Each Family has their own family file folder where important information is left for members.

(Note: We ask that each family volunteer as much as possible, the events that their child is participating, these hours count, and it’s easy to help out when already present)

 Fun Meets and Socials throughout the swim seasons

Winter 2011/12 Dates: October 29th (fun meet), December 11^th (fun meet and potluck), April  22)

Fundraising Events:  

Winter 2011/12 Dates: Annual Swim-a-thon Date: Sunday, November 20th. Winter Bottle Drive Date: March 4^th.

Summer 2011/2012 Dates: Annual Sprint Challenge Swim Meet and Silent Auction: (full club participation needed) Date: July 7&8th, Summer Bottle Drive Date: TBA.

• Orientation Volunteer - Volunteer from each Practice group to welcome and orientate new members: Red group, Gold group, Black group and Whit Group.
